"Real Living Faith"

Faith II

We hope all is well with you during these challenging times and that you're living in the peace of our Lord. I'm so thankful for the awards I've been receiving lately for my motorcycle racing career. In April I was the honored MX Legend at Diamond Don's 7th Annual Riverport Vintage National event and then this month I was the honored Legend during the Pro National at Tony Miller's beautiful track at the Freestone National. I'm proud of my accomplishments in motorcycle racing, but friend, my greatest desire is to use whatever honor I've been given, to honor the Lord.

Since liquidating my real estate holdings I have been concentrating on my ministry and learning the forex currency trading market. It’s interesting to learn how our worldwide currency markets were built and where the leaders of this world seem to be taking us.

For the last few years I have diligently researched, studied and sad to say, watched how the financial markets are manipulated and controlled by such lies, corruption and greed. I’m amazed how the big companies and the CEO’s seem to get away with such robbery in our system, in what is supposed to be a government for the people. This supposed bailout, which started last year was only to enhance the friends of our former and current supposed leader. What an unethical farce!

As you can tell, I’m very disgusted with the heavy tax burdens and dishonesty of the leaders we’ve had the last few decades, but there is a true leader, One we can continually look to for comfort and hope. He will never fail, nor let us down in this life or the life to come, when we seek after His way, His purpose and His plan for our lives.

Without Faith in God we’re hopeless, but with true Faith in Him all things are possible. A person void of the mindset of Faith cannot understand this, because their eyes are blinded; yet those who seek after the eternal riches can see the true meaning and joys of life, even when facing dire circumstances.

When I write on Faith, I mean the only true Faith, which believes that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord, and what He did forgives our sin, giving us eternal salvation of the soul. Think about all the beautiful Christmas carols that remind us of Him and what He accomplished for us on the Cross.

While spending some quiet time this morning I came across an article in one of the commentaries I read regularly. Along with my additions, it clearly adds to the topic I wrote on in my last web letter, Faith.

Hebrews 11:6 read;

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Faith is indispensable to a good relationship with God and its importance cannot be overemphasized. But notice the condition in this verse. It does not say that God is the rewarder of everyone but "of those who diligently seek Him."

Real living faith is direct; it has its foundation in diligently, actively, consistently, zealously seeking Him in study and prayer and having our character be conformed to His will. Those who live with this mindset can be encouraged that they will be rewarded. The reward is to find Him and His purpose, which will lead to partaking of His blessings. This in turn will increase our faith.

The biblical word "faith" is most synonymous with the English word "trust." "Faith" can be a mere agreement with a cold, hard fact. This is fine as far as it goes, but it loses a great deal of meaning when we consider that this One with whom we are dealing is a warm, dynamic, powerful and loving Personality.

Biblical faith and trust, is firm. It is faith in full flower, acting consciously and with agreeable feeling—we might call it "conviction."

This faith is not done coldly and calculatedly—simply because a thing is right. It is not done with a "perhaps" or a "maybe," but with joy and with firm conviction, with a consciousness that one is in agreement with this dynamic and loving personality.

We should be aware of a unity with our Lord just as we are aware of our sense of touch—our strongest sense in terms of evoking emotion: consider a punch in the nose compared to a kiss. But faith and trust is sensitive in the same way.

Faith is conscious of the things of God; it mentally sees God. In addition, faith not only evokes the hard, cold facts (which has "a remembrance of truth"), but also responds emotionally to a wonderful, dynamic, gracious, and powerful Personality, who is our Father and closet Friend. What an incredible statement; Your Heavenly Father is your closest friend!

Call upon the name of Jesus today for His mercy and grace, He loves you. I pray you were encouraged and strengthened by my article.
